Horni goes shopping with her mother

Last week, I went shopping with my mother. We decided to go OG at Chinatown -- making use of the Xmas sale to shop for CNY clothings. Though I sound damn Auntie, but trust me. It is a good an excellent strategy!! Imagine, no last minute rushing and buying for CNY. Simple Bliss!!!

Anyway, my mother hates the carpark there. But I am amused by it. You needa take a lift to go into their carpark. and you need not press any buttons! all automated!!

Looks like everyone really having a fun time in the world huh? Continue high high into the sky for the remaining 3 days before we head down to you-know-what.. HAve FUN fun FUN!! Btw I've been having soooooooooo much fun that i neglect sleep and mom says my face is uglier liao.. with pimples and eye bags and dark rings.. rings for sale, anyone? Haha.. Anyway, u guys shld have received the emails i sent out right? Hope you guys love it! Hehe!

Sigh..hasnt been studying or doing my work. Feeling darn guilty now! =( Was sick for quite afew days, then holidaying mood, rainy mood, nua-ing mood, etc etc....Just reasons/excuses that I gave myself over the few days! LOL! So it's back to some mugging!

Merry Xmas again! Love you guys! Muacks!!!!! Hope 2008 will be a fulfilling and thrilling year for all of us again! =)

Lets see.. His name is Zul, 17 this year, studying in YJC, sweet, smart, cute, sincere and plays the saxophone. :D

hahahah.. kidding lah.. i still love my scandal.. ya.. so Corni, pls hands off him okie!! if not i will jealous.. hahaha.. and Scandal, pls dun smile so sweetly when you are taking pic with other women okie! I dun remb you smiling so sweetly when you were taking pic with me! *angry*

Zul was my student 6 years ago. And he still remembers me!!!!! when I taught him, he was just a Pri 5 boy. He kept my numbers (both hp and home) and contacted me when he got into a JC. I remembered that I was so touched that I cried can! He is truly a sweet boy. aawwww~~

We took this pic when I went for his band concert at esplanade. I am ssssooooo very proud of him. If he is not a Muslim, I think I would have hugged him! hahhaa.. seriously! 6 years ago, he just reached my shoulder. 6 years later, he is taller even though I was wearing heels. 6 years ago, his little brother was 3 years old and would hug my legs and kiss me on my cheek. 6 years later, little brother is in Primary 3 and he has another 3 year old little brother. Boy.. I feel old.. But nevertheless happy and proud of my little boy. :)

Initial plans for post dinner was watching Warlords.

Not everyone wanted to watch, so Moni, Corni, JX, Dan went back first.

Went to AMK Hub, realised the next show was 1.05am. Pretty late.

Checked timing for Tampines. There's an earlier timing at 12plus. Nearer for us Easterners too!

Perfect. So we headed to TM.

Along the way Pele kept saying he didn't want to watch.. I suppose he thinks we're being forced to watch with him.

Which wasn't the case.

On train to Tampines, Pele, for this reason or another, alighted at his stop.

When he said he was going home, we all thought he was joking.

And among us he was the person who wanted to watch Warlords MOST.

The 3 of us were left stunned in the train for a good 10mins or so.

Maybe he didn't believe us. Maybe he really didn't want to watch.

But right till now guess the 3 of us still didn't know what's the reason behind him suddenly alighting.

Or at least until after the movie, when we were at Mac chilling out, still discussing why he alighted.

Oh well.

Anyway no regrets from the 3 of us!

Warlords was a great movie!

In case you're keen on watching the movie, I shall not provide spoilers here.

But it was a movie with great cinematography. Those war scenes are really 壮观!

And it has an excellent plot - depicts brotherhood, righteousness... and "lust caution".

No... There's no R(A) scenes! But how men can fail through women!

(Hence it reminds me of Lust Caution)

Oops.

I think I leaked some spoilers. Shall stop talking about the movie now!

Alright, I'm 10 hours away from Cambodia!

My bags are 7788 packed. Gonna continue packing, finish putting all the stuff in my bag.

Gonna wake up at 6.30am tomorrow. It's 1.30am now, and I'm not feeling tired.

I still don't feel the excitement of going Cambodia.

Rather I'm more excited about going to the airside of Changi Airport!

MINI MISSES THAT PLACE ALOT!!!!

Wanna go into DFS to say hi to all the aunties... hehe...

And show my mummy the pretty airside toilet which overlooks the runway.

Gonna try out all the airport exclusive perfumes in Nuance Watson!

PS Corni: Yep! It's a nice book! Next book to recommend: Tuesdays with Morrie by the same author. I got quite emo after reading both books, but I guess it's in a good way. They're both very thought provoking, and from there we learn some of life's greatest lessons.

Five people you meet in heaven

Hey mini, I'm so sorry that your storybook five people you meet in heaven is still with me. My sis indeed takes a long time to finish the 200-page book. Pardon her! I'm rushing her already. Haha.

I just finished reading the entire book today. (I know i should be doing my FR instead but the weather is omg.. How to start? Haha.. Libaries are closed on public holdiays too. Bleah). Anyway I'm not sure why I am so emo after reading when it's supposed to be inspriring. It indeed re-shaped the way I look at things. What a powerful book huh. Haha..

Anyway I just wanna thanks say for appearing in my lives, ninis.. I really appreciate our "xiang yu". Well, it's not thanksgiving day but ya. I just feel like saying this now. Haha..

Looni is back for short updates!

I worked for 6hrs last Saturday! My fren found me the job lobang de! Hehe! =) Anyway, i worked as a flyer girl along with my fren and the conclusion after working is that I WILL NEVER REJECT OTHERS WHO GIVE OUT FLYERS THE NEXT TIME! It's really sad to be rejected de! LOL!

Kim Jung Hoon came to Singapore for Star Awards and as Channel U's Korean 大使! Since I was at Tampines after work, so we went down to the Airport to catch a glimpse of him! The time was right too! Gosh! There's a huge crowd in the airport to 目睹 his arrival but not as much fans as Kwon Sang Woo and Rain. LOL! But still, he's really very very 梦幻! *melts* In case you all dont know who's Kim Jung Hoon, he's Yul Prince in Goong! Hehe! I feel like watching Goong again! =x

Thanks dearies for all the concern :) mini's not stressed now, and I hope I'll stay this way. Next week's still gonna be a busy week for me! Fortunately it's a short week. Looking forward to Wed night, where my holiday will start! Woots! Catch up over dinner on Wed night, Thurs is Hari Raya, and Fri I'll be in Cambodia. Holiday all the way till X'mas. But think I'll have a real big problem on 26th when I'll have to switch back to studying mode.... Will worry about it on 26th :)
